Monitoring and Control of pH
PH is a very important parameter in the field of water quality analysis. For example, in the process of sewage treatment, the acidity or alkalinity of water can affect the activity of microorganisms, thereby affecting the efficiency of treatment and purification. In the industrial production process, it is also necessary to adjust the pH value, such as neutralization reaction, to ensure that the product quality meets the specified requirements. Automatic pH monitoring and control require the use of online pH monitoring devices. Over the past 50 years, WTW has successfully manufactured many high-performance online pH monitoring instruments and sensors. The pH monitoring instrument produced by WTW has been recognized by the vast majority of users due to its excellent performance, stable testing, and excellent quality.

SensoLyt series sensor design concept
The online continuous monitoring of pH in the sewage treatment process imposes very strict requirements on instruments and sensors. A reliable operating system must meet the following requirements: the structure must be sturdy and durable, and the testing must be stable, safe, and reliable.
WTW has developed a specialized SensoLyt series of sensors specifically for online monitoring of wastewater treatment in harsh environments. A complete set of sensors includes an immersion type sturdy sheath with a preamplifier and glass sensing electrodes. Paired with our high-quality monitoring instrument, a perfect pH monitoring system can be formed, which has unparalleled high precision and reliability, as well as excellent EMC electromagnetic protection.
In addition, WTW's unique IQ digital sensor can automatically store calibration data, which brings great convenience to users. Imagine how difficult it is to calibrate electrodes on site in harsh weather conditions. With IQ sensors, you can calibrate the electrodes in the laboratory and then install them on site.
Introduction to various models of SensoLyt series sensors
SensoLyt 700
Analog signal, SensoLyt 700 standard components include built-in preamplifier and stainless steel NTC temperature probe. If used in conjunction with a WTW host, the internal special circuit will automatically detect electrode damage. In addition, the SensoLyt 700 has standard lightning protection features. The SensoLyt 700 electrode assembly can accommodate any type of SensoLyt series electrode and is compatible with all WTW host EcoLine and QuadroLine series.
SensoLyt 690
Analog signal, economical, mechanical manufacturing, with technical parameters almost the same as 700, but without SensCheck electrode detection function.
Analog signal, passive component, no preamplifier, used to allow "high impedance input" of the host, directly connect the electrode to the host, built-in NTC temperature sensing probe. The mechanical structure is the same as the SensoLyt 700 model. The 650 component is compatible with hosts that allow "high impedance input", such as pH170, pH296,Stratos 2211X.
SensoLyt 700 IQ
Digital signal, SensoLyt 700 IQ is a standard digital sensor that can be connected toIQ Sensor NetIn the middle. The standard components include a built-in preamplifier and a built-in stainless steel NTC temperature probe. Used in conjunction with WTW's IQ host, the internal special circuit will automatically detect electrode damage. In addition, the SensoLyt 700 IQ has standard lightning protection features.
The SensoLyt 700 IQ has the function of automatically storing calibration data, so users can fully calibrate the sensor in the laboratory and then connect it back to the site.
SensoLyt SEA/SE
High temperature and high pressure pH composite electrode with 2 needle hole shaped separators, electrolyte is a solid polymer that is not affected by AgCl interference, therefore it can resist interference and is suitable forMunicipal and industrial wastewater with severe pollution.
Test scope: pH 2-12
◆ Severely polluted sewage
Suspension, emulsion
◆ Medium containing protein and S2-
SensoLyt SEA-HP
PH composite electrode with higher pressure resistance
Test scope: pH 4-12
◆Pipeline installation
SensoLyt DWA/DW
Long service life, more accurate testing, suitable for low conductivity applications such as drinking water.
Test scope: pH 0-14
◆drinking water
SensoLyt ECA/EC
Economical pH composite electrode, with a pinhole diaphragm and gel electrolyte. More commonly used in sewage monitoring.
Test scope: pH 2-12
